Janella Kang graduated from University of Washington majoring in Biochemistry and Applied Mathematics. During her time in undergraduate, her experiences spread widely from Immunology research to IACUC review to Computational Systems Biology. Recently, Janella was an intern with Makerere University’s Centre of Excellence for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health studying the social determinants of maternal and child health in a rural setting. With HaSET, she is currently with the BIRHAN team working on cleaning and analyzing the maternal and child health morbidity and mortality surveillance data.
