Andy Young graduated from Duke in 2016 with a Masters in Statistics. Upon graduation, he worked on an R&D Data Science team at an international information services company applying both classic and novel machine learning algorithms to both big and small data on both local and cloud-based cluster environments. Andy also worked on problems related to anomaly detection, data system architectures, data visualizations and record linkage. He then moved to a unicorn start-up to build an international team of sales coaches and data scientists working with hundreds of customers around the world. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, traveling, riding his motorcycle and playing tennis.
