Our mission is to advance the health of mothers, newborns and children by generating high quality evidence, training researchers, and translating results to programs and policies. We build on a foundation of rigorous data infrastructure and multiple testing sites and pilots to allow for a nimble, agile approach to developing and testing novel interventions, effectiveness testing, and implementation research of tools and service delivery models. Our results from ongoing surveillance, risk and causal modeling, and qualitative insights from community members and stakeholders provide the basis for our learning, questioning, and interventions. We are a collaborative team of epidemiologists, clinicians, public health professionals, and policy makers dedicated to improving the health of mothers and children.
