Tefera Biteye is the current Coordinator for the Verbal Autopsy study in HaSET-Birhan project. He supervises and coordinates the BARNARDS project, which was a multi-country study conducted by Harvard and St. Paul’s. Tefera also has experience in nursing care and service in rural and urban areas at different governmental and private health institutions that have a focus in maternal and child health.

He has a BSc degree in Human Nutrition at Bahirdar University, Diploma in Clinical Nurse at Debre Tabor Health Science College, and is a general MPH candidate at Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College.
